Distance

I never did like physics,
The unerring laws that define reality.
Warping it into a single-faceted truth,
Which brings unto itself an unnatural lack of joy.

If I could have my way,
These laws would not exist.
There would be no childhood programming that says:
"That's impossible."
"You can't do that."

Reality would no longer be based on physical rules,
Which are interpreted by each differently,
Yet dictated in the same tongue.
The voice would change, whispering newfound truth.
And we would be free.

No longer fortified by self-made limits,
The towers of Space and Time would
Crumble and fall
In the deluge of new awareness.
And I,
Within my newly discovered Universe,
Could reach out into a preternatural reflection,
And find you.
