What is Wicca?
I am writing this in the hope that it will enlighten someone out there:) Wicca is an Earth-based religion. We worship a Goddess and God. They are seen as being a part of the Earth. It is relativly hard to define the basis of our beliefs, as I have seen many Wiccans who have slightly different beliefs. Some Wiccans call the Goddess and God by names, others only the Lord and Lady. It is a religion that teaches the person to love thier life, and live it to the fullest. It shows us the beauty of nature, and how we work among it.
Yes, we do cast spells and do magick. But we have two things called the law of three and the Wiccan Rede. The Law of Three states that whatever you do will come back to you times three, basically Karma. The second, The Rede, says "An it Harm none, Do What Ye Wilt." To be Wiccan is to follow these laws, as best you can. I do not do curse spells or any like that. Even Love spells border on manipulation. I only do magick to help myself, Ex. passing a test, or to heal.
